Molly Paddock is an indie-folk singer/songwriter who brings the intimacy of vintage folk recordings to a modern audience with her haunted, stripped-back style and relentless attention to detail. Working in gemology by day, studying jewels and their hidden histories, she brings her fascination with beauty and detail to every song she creates.
Molly writes music that feels like stumbling upon forgotten home recordings: intimate, unpolished and deeply tender. She finds inspiration walking the magic-soaked cobblestone streets of Charleston at 9am and feels the words flow through her like sunlight. "It's almost an act of decoding, discovering what my heart is saying and why," Molly says.
Her debut album, crafted in Nashville over several years with producer Jim Reilley and engineer Eric Fritsch, is a testament to that authenticity. Instead of chasing elaborate production, the team chose restraint. Songs were recorded in only a few takes, free of cuts and splices, honoring the natural arc of each performance. What emerged is a record that feels alive in its simplicity: warm, imperfect, and strikingly relatable.

PurchaseThe songs were produced to preserve imperfections. They are clunky, raw, I used an old guitar and a dusty piano. I thought I'd write the songs as they were and production would clean it all up for me. But my producer, Jim Reilley had a vision. He wanted to preserve the humanness of the songs and keep them true to their origin. I sure am glad to have trusted him. All that to say, I thought I was just making a crescent moon pendant as a nod to celestial themes in the record. However, it ended up meaning more to me. It reminds me that being touched by the imperfections of being human is sacred and is art in itself. Something I don't believe AI or mass production can reach.
Each pendant is hand carved and hand cast using the lost wax method, an ancient technique. The pendants are sterling silver and set with a natural rainbow moonstone. The pendant comes with an adjustable ribbon cord.
